back to regular life now. i am still enjoying my lazy summer at rich's apartment but now i run in riverside park to not be a slug. i saw the freedom tunnel recently, which is a old train tunnel left alone for decades and the inside is all graffitis. many homeless people lived there but i went with simon and so it was safe. someone painted the venus de milo, brilliant. it inspires me to draw but i cannot make more art than an ice cube, or a stick man. maybe i will write a song instead. the mole people anthem.

it's summer now, i moved out of the dormitory and now i am living with rich for the summer. we sit around in our underwear and we drink smoothies (sometimes with vodka) and watch arrested development. it is hard for me to understand sometimes but my favorites are tobias and george-michael. :) tobias's gayness would not be okay in russia! the upper west side is a very wonderful neighborhood full of socialites ladies. i wonder if they know of the silly activities we do.

there are days like this when i feel like a real american. my english has improved a lot since i have been here, and it comes natural to me now. it's good. :) i've learned a lot more slang too, and that is awesome/rad/tight/etc! also i received a A- grade in organic chemistry so that is a good excuse to eat thai food at SEA in williamsburg tonight until i explode. with my friends, i have so many good friends now of all races and nationalites. what a beautiful palette of colors. yes, god bless america.

i think that now since i am living in america it is a good time to start a new journal... i have been here since september 2007 keeping notes in personal paper journal but now perhaps on livejournal i can make new friends. ahh so where do i start!

a lot of people hear that i am from russia and assume i am cold like the stereotype. this is not true! i am from sochi, by the black sea, where we have beautiful beaches. mmmmm. i am very warm, i think. at least, in the bed, according to rich ha ha ha! speaking about sex, why is it that americans are so "uptight" about sex? they don't seem to enjoy it as much as russian girls, or talk about it a lot either. i am surprised, after watching sex and the city. maybe after a couple drinks? maybe if i were a big russian man? ha. now i know the reason rich loves me.

when i moved here i wanted to buy EVERYTHING. so sexy. you do not see russian girls wearing wings, unfortunately.
